The Iona Stichting is recognized as an ANBI (Public Benefit Organization). That means a donation is tax deductible.

Donating to the Iona Foundation can be done in various ways.

You can make a one-time gift to a specific project or support it over a longer period through a regular donation. You might also want to leave funds after your passing. Because of our ANBI status, donations are tax-deductible. Read more here about the different options.

Please note: whether you get a tax deduction for a donation doesn’t depend on your nationality, but on whether they pay income tax in The Netherlands.

That means, for example:

A Dutch person who doesn’t pay Dutch income tax usually isn’t eligible for a donation deduction.
A foreigner who does pay Dutch income tax can take advantage of the donation deduction under the same conditions as a Dutch person.
