Project application

Here you can find all the practical information for submitting a general application. For students and course participants, we have different guidelines. For that, go to the Studiefonds Herrad van Landsberg or Professional Development page.

An application makes sense if the project or initiative fits our goals and criteria. In addition, intrinsic motivation plays a big role.

Read the following carefully before you start submitting an application through our online system. This way, you’ll be aware of the information we ask for.

We only process applications for projects or initiatives that haven't started yet. Besides that, we support one application per organization/applicant per year.

every application is different

Every application is unique to us. Besides the standard required information, our review committee also pays attention to the intrinsic motivation. A commitment for one person does not automatically mean that an application for the same theme will be approved. The list of grants is therefore meant to serve as inspiration.

International applications

We have enough contacts in our own network to get advice about the applicant and/or the project for which the money is being requested.

ai

We're getting more and more requests where ai has been used. That might seem convenient and quick, but it often overlooks individuality. If you still want to use it, we ask that you indicate which part of the request it concerns.

No pre-application and no general application

We don’t process pre-applications. Not sure? Give our office a call or drop by during one of our meet-up days. We only handle applications that are addressed to us directly. General applications (for example, 'dear interested party') will not be processed.

First, read the manual for submitting a project application, so you know what steps are coming. Answer the online questions briefly and concisely. Include the more personal question in the required uploads.

Processing time

In principle, the applicant will get a response within 6 weeks. During the summer period, it may take a little longer.

Evaluation

To get an idea of how the project went and how we provide support, we ask for an evaluation.

For long-running projects, we expect an interim evaluation six months after the project has started.

We will only consider a new application if we have received an evaluation of the previous project.
