Who are they?

Museum Krona aims to promote appreciation for religion among a broad audience through its permanent collection, thought-provoking exhibitions, and educational programs.

Aim

Museum Krona for religious art in Uden (located in a former abbey complex of the Bridgettine Sisters) is requesting support for its project ‘OMG! RELI POPART’. The funding is intended for activities aimed at engaging people who face social challenges, including young people—groups who do not typically visit museums.

On Maundy Thursday, a meal will be organized for 30 refugees and socially vulnerable individuals from Uden and the surrounding area. During this gathering, the museum’s curators will initiate a conversation with the guests about the meaning of the Last Supper, using various interpretations featured in the exhibition as a starting point.

In collaboration with local youth organizations, twenty young people will also be invited to participate in an afternoon workshop using graffiti and sidewalk chalk.
