Earth Charter – Partnership

The Earth Charter is an ethical charter and today, 25 years after its launch, it is more urgent than ever. At a time when war and the language of violence feed our news media, it is important not to let the voice of peace and connection fall silent, but rather to strengthen it.

In 2025, we will celebrate 25 years of the Earth Charter and call on everyone to protect life on Earth and to be good ancestors. Together with Earth Charter International, a three-day celebration will be organized in the Netherlands, on July 1, 2 and 3 at various locations, including the Peace Palace. The intention is the involvement of a large group of Earth Charter connections and new interested parties and a lot of publicity so that the Earth Charter will enter the next 25 years with new energy and connections.

The aim is to make it possible for young people from all parts of the world to participate and become an integral part of the event. The entrance fee for young people remains low, but it is precisely young people who have limited financial means to make the journey to the Netherlands. The fund is intended for engaging young people, as well as for creative expressions regarding the event and Earth Charter Netherlands as a Partnership.
