ORO Wolkorrel: ORO Wolkorrel: Laboratory research

2023 · 7500

Who are they?

ORO Wolkorrel is a new initiative that stems from concerns about the surplus of Dutch sheep wool. After research and experimentation, Natalie and Maarten managed to process the wool into 100% circular plant food in granular form. The granules have a water buffering effect, which provides space for root growth and replenishes minerals.

Aim

The mission of ORO Wolkorrel is to use millions of kilos of surplus sheep’s wool every year as plant food. To achieve this, laboratory research is now being conducted to scientifically substantiate the mission with the correct data and thus convince the market.
